- Vehicle collision leaves 7 people injured in West town.
The police attend a call around 8:19 pm on April 10, at the scene of the events the police try to stop a 2012 model gray Volkswagen sedan vehicle in which it is presumed that there were 5 passengers, who fled to the west.
The vehicle collided near North Damen avenue and West grand avenue, against a passenger in a white 2007 Toyota Yaris vehicle.
According to official sources, the Toyota vehicle was pushed in front of a room and a couple of passengers aged 50 and 39 suffered some bruises on their bodies. These were transferred to the hospital in stable condition.
- On Saturday April 11 at around two in the afternoon, the police stopped a suspicious car, in which there were four passengers including some minors.
The one who was driving was a 23-year-old man who had suffered from some lessons in his arm during the accident, also carrying two teenagers in the suspect vehicle, a 13-year-old boy with bruises on his body and another 17-year-old who suffered a chin injury, the three were transferred to the hospital in the area in a stable condition. While the fourth passenger is a 21-year-old young man who suffered a fracture in his skull during the collision of the vehicle, he was taken to the hospital in the area in a critical condition, the exact information on his health status is still not available. nor the exact reason the events occurred.
The police are investigating.
- 66-year-old woman is arrested for attempted murder.
The events occurred on the South shore, around 1:45 am in the 1700 block of East 79th Street.
Two women were arguing when said woman took out a gun and shot another woman according to the police report.
The victim is another 56-year-old woman who was hit on the back and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, fortunately she was in good condition.
The woman in charge of the events was immediately arrested and she was transferred to the fourth district to initiate the criminal process against her.
Detectives are investigating the reasons for the events.
- Incident at 88th & Marshfield
22nd District officials respond to a report of a man reported loosely on the wheel.
The events were reported at 88th and Marsfield, in the morning hours.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they observed two male occupants asleep inside a moving vehicle and a weapon, exactly a pistol, exposed inside the vehicle near one of the passengers.
Officers managed to get a second gun belonging to the driver.
The two suspects charged with firearms felonies.
