DOMESTIC BATTERY: Sandra Hendrix, 60, of Chicago Ridge, was arrested and accused of domestic battery and was processed on an outstanding warrant Jan. 11 in the 10000 block of Sayre Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Erin Patterson, 36, of Hickory Hills, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, failure to yield, expired registration and no insurance Jan. 14 in the 6700 block of West 103rd Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Joseph Fishel, 41, of Palos Hills, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving in the wrong lane and speeding Jan. 17 in the 10500 block of Southwest Highway, police said.

Homer Glen

SPEEDING: Qiyi Yuan, 21, of the 1600 block of East 50th, Chicago, was arrested and accused of aggravated speeding and no insurance Dec. 30 at 159th Street and Annico Drive, police said. 

THEFT: Someone stole an empty trailer connected to a semi-truck when it was parked in the 12000 block of South New Avenue Jan. 4.

New Lenox

RETAIL THEFT: Leah Elder, 27, of the 1900 block of Stonebridge Drive, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandise from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Jan. 8, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Kenneth Lindahl, 46, of the 7700 block of Steeple Chase, New Lenox, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandise from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Jan. 9, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Jillian Jones, 43, of Glenwood, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandise from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Jan. 9, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Nikko Robinson, 18, of the 900 block of Lake Road, New Lenox, was arrested and accused of domestic battery after a Jan. 11 incident at his home, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Phael Parham, 20, of the 3600 block of Edward Drive, Crete, was arrested and accused of possession of marijuana and edible THC products with intent to deliver and driving on a suspended license Jan. 12 at U.S. 30 and Vine Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Stacia Onsen, 33, of the 25100 block of Eastern Avenue, Manhattan, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandise from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Jan. 15, police said.

Oak Forest

HOME BURGLARY: A 19-year-old woman told police someone stole a safe containing $4,000 in cash from her bedroom inside her apartment in the 15900 block of LeClaire Avenue Jan. 11, police said. The victim told police that nobody knew about the safe. Police said there were no signs of forced entry to the apartment.

Orland Park

DRUG ARREST: Tara McNellis, 39, of the 15300 block of Heather Court, Orland Park, was arrested and accused of possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license Jan. 4 in the 15700 block of 71st Court, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Spyros Arvanitakis, 52, of the 5100 block of Bobby Locke Lane, Midlothian, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing eight wall plates, a metal plumbing valve, two aluminum wire connectors and a Snickers bar from Home Depot, 7300 W. 159th St., on Jan. 7, police said.

CRIMINAL TRESSPASS: Donnell Farmer, 64, of Harvey, was arrested and accused of criminal trespassing after entering Orland Square Mall Jan. 7, despite having been previously banned, police said.

Palos Hills

HOME BURGLARIZED: Police said some ransacked a home in the 9700 block of 81st Avenue and stole approximately $2,400 worth of valuables on Jan. 11.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Police said someone damaged an oak tree in the 7700 block of Michael Drive on Jan. 13.

BATTERY: Police said someone complained that an unknown man exited a white car and spit in their face in the 7500 block of 103rd Street on Jan. 13.

THEFT: Someone stole a package delivered to a home in the 8500 block of 103rd Terrace on Jan. 13.

THEFT: Police said a resident of the 8400 block of 99th Terrace reported having their mail stolen on Jan. 14.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Thomas Olsen, 42, of Orland Park, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license Jan. 16 in the 10300 block of Roberts Road, police said.

THEFT: A wallet was stolen from a car parked in the 8500 block of 99th Terrace on Jan. 16.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mowammad Daaboul, 21, of Worth, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and other traffic offenses Jan. 17 in the 8200 block of Poplar Lane, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Maria Ustupka, 71, of Palos Hills, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and other traffic offenses in the 9800 block of 90th Avenue Jan 17, police said.

Tinley Park

HIT AND RUN: Marwan Matari, 28, address unknown, was arrested and accused of leaving the scene of a property damage accident after rear-ending another driver at 167th Street and Oak Park Avenue Dec. 28, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Gabriel Borroel Trujillo, 21, of the 8800 block of Nashville Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of possession of a controlled substance after a Dec. 31 traffic stop in the 7200 block of West 159th Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Lucas Rudenga, 23, of the 15400 block of Walnut Road, Oak Forest, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after rear-ending another car at 165th Place and Oak Park Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, police said.

WEAPONS ARREST: Anthony Jarrett, 34, of East Hazel Crest, was arrested and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and speeding after police found a loaded handgun under his passenger seat during a Jan. 3 stop in the 19600 block of North Harlem Avenue, police said. Jarrett told police he does not own a FOID card or a concealed carry license, according to a police report.

DUI ARREST: Dana Munsen-Taylor, 23, of the 19500 block of 116th Avenue, Mokena, was arrested and accused of drugged and drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, making an improper turn and disobeying a traffic control device after crashing into a highway sign at Harlem Avenue and Benton Drive on Jan. 7, police said.

DUI ARREST: Edward Ryan, 61, of the 7000 block of 183rd Street, Tinley Park, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and following too closely after a Jan. 8 stop in the 7300 block of West 183rd Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Mozella Cartharn, 29, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of drunken driving after driving off the roadway Jan. 9 in the 19900 block of 80th Avenue, police said.

Will County

DUI ARREST: Andres Betancourt, 37, of Beecher, was arrested and accused of aggravated drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, no insurance and illegal possession of marijuana Dec. 28 at 5th and Main Street in Crete Township, police said.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Police said someone slashed three car tires and broke the side mirror of a car parked in the 2800 block of East Bending Creek in Crete Township Dec. 30.

THEFT: Police said someone stole four solar panels from a construction site in the 900 block of East Goodenow in Crete Township on Dec. 31.

DUI ARREST: Augustina Carvelli, 33, of the 500 block of Catalpa Street, Beecher, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to carry a driver’s license Dec. 31 in the 30000 block of Will Center Road in Peotone, police said.

Country Club Hills

ORDER VIOLATION: Anthony McLin, 38, 16700 block of Butterfield Drive, Country Club Hills, was arrested and accused of violating an order of protection Jan. 10 in that block, police said.

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION: Abeid A. Armour, 27, 3700 block of Wellington Drive, Country Club Hills, was arrested and accused of obstructing identification during a Jan. 12 hit-and-run investigation in the 3600 block of School Drive, police said.

Oak Lawn

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Kiara L. Crawford, 31, Chicago, was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct Jan. 2 at the Hilton Oak Lawn Midway Airport Hotel after refusing to leave and shouting obscenities at staff and a responding officer, police said.

VANDALISM: The front passenger door handle was reported broken Jan. 2 on a car parked in the 9600 block of Natoma Avenue.

ATTEMPTED THEFT: A Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT’s gear shifter was discovered placed in neutral and a window smashed Jan. 2 at a car dealership in the 9300 block of Cicero Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Robert A. Pyrkowski Jr., 24, undisclosed block of Spencer Lane, Alsip, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic signal during a Jan. 3 two-vehicle crash investigation at 95th Street and Central Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A delivered package was reported stolen Jan. 4 from the 9500 block of Marion Avenue.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Michael S. Ulanowski, 47, undisclosed block of Deblin Lane was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct Jan. 4 in the 11000 block of Deblin Lane after menacing a neighbor, police said.

THEFT: Two Smith & Wesson 9mm pistols were reported stolen from a home Jan. 5 in an undisclosed block of Mason Avenue.

VANDALISM: A screen door was reported damaged Jan. 6 at a home in an undisclosed block of Wick Drive.

BATTERY: A ride-share driver to investigators Jan 7 in the 4400 block of Southwest Highway that a fare punched him in the face and fled after being told to don a mask.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Edward W. Plumb, 51, undisclosed block of 91st Street, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, disregarding a stop sign and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision during a Jan. 8 investigation of a two-vehicle crash at 93rd Street and Meade Avenue, police said.

VANDALISM: The attempted removal of a deadbolt lock to gain access to an apartment in the 6300 block of 99th Place was reported Jan. 8.

THEFT: Several packages were reported stolen Jan. 8 from an apartment building in the 9900 block of Cicero Avenue.

VANDALISM: Windows were reported smashed out at a home Jan. 9 in the 11000 block of Keating Avenue.

THEFT: A delivered package was reported stolen from a porch Jan. 10 in the 6800 block of 97th Street.

VANDALISM: Landscaping bricks were used to smash out the windows of three cars Jan. 10 in the 6200 block of 90th Place.

VANDALISM: Five vehicles were reported damaged Jan. 10 in the area immediately southwest of 87th Street and Pulaski Avenue.  The front windshield and side mirror were smashed in the 8800 block of 51st Avenue. The windows and a side mirror were smashed on two vehicles 9100 block of Sproat Avenue. The front and rear windshields were smashed on a vehicle in the 9300 block of 51st Avenue. The windshield was smashed on a rental van in the 5100 block of 88th Place.

VANDALISM: Five vehicles were reported vandalized Jan. 10 in the vicinity of Chicago Ridge Mall. They included the windshield and two side windows of a vehicle in the 9500 block of Nottingham Avenue, the front and rear windshields of a vehicle in the 9600 block of Normandy Avenue and the rear window and side mirror of a vehicle in the 9500 block of Oak Park Avenue.

THEFT: A delivered package was reported stolen Jan. 10 from an apartment building in the 4800 block of 109th Street.
